Ptr. Ence was born in Bolinao, Pangasinan on December 11, 1974. He spent his elementary and high school days in Bolinao and his college days in Baguio City. He is a graduate of UP-Baguio having finished a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science in 1995.

He was in first year college when he was invited to attend a seminar that led him to come to know Christ. From 1992-1995 while still in college, he joined the former church and actively served in Sunday School, Praise and Worship Ministry, and the Youth Ministry. When the former church split in 1996 due to doctrinal issues, Ptr. Ence joined Ptr. Robbie Casas at Guiding Light Christian Church and was assigned to pastor Guiding Light Dagupan Outreach. It was there that he met his wife, Sis. Jane Cacho. They got married in April 2000 and are blessed with three children: Jirah, Jeah, and Timothy Joseph.

In 2003, Ptr. Ence was reassigned at Guiding Light Baguio as Youth Pastor. He is currently the Associate Pastor and an Elder of Guiding Light Christian Church.
